The latest data from DIBP shows invitations for subclass 189 and 489 visas have been increased sharply in Sept.
In addition to the 1,796 invitation issued on 6 Sept 2017, almost same amount of invitations were issued on 20 Sept 2017 again, making total amount of the invitations issued in Sept a 60% increase from July and Aug.

The points scores for most occupations have been kept unchanged with a significant exception for accountants, which jumped to 85 from 75 in the previous rounds, and more than 200 invitation were issued. It is kind of weird, and the disclosure of more data later may tell us what had happened.
